Hair follicles - an especially weak point
Recently, it has been proven that the skin’s hair follicles are especially weak points for the penetration of aeroallergens. They represent an efficient and fast penetration pathway for allergens. Moreover, substances that penetrate into these follicles are stored up to ten times longer than in the horny layer.
